Minutes of a Meeting of the PLANNING COMMITTEE, held at the Community Room on Tuesday, 6th July, 2010, commencing at 7.30pm

                        Ms. S. Flowers from the Maidenhead Advertiser.

                        No members of the public were present.

OPEN FORUM:  Cllr Brar spoke from the floor to draw the Council's attention to a Cedar tree in Poundfield Lane that was subject to a TPO.  The tree is now very diseased and is scheduled for felling on the recommendation of the Tree Officer.  Due to an oversight the Council had not been informed of this matter, although there is no legal requirement for this to happen.  The Council were told by the Office Assistant that a compulsory replacement planting, probably of a Giant Redwood tree, will be actioned.

APOLOGIES AND DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

Apologies were received from Cllrs D. Fry, M-L Kellaway and F. Hewer.  Cllr M. Coker was attending a meeting at Cookham Rise Primary School.

Cllr D. Ricardo declared a personal interest in Applications Nos. 10/01234, 10/01235 and 10/01332.

Cllr John Stretton declared an interest as a member of the MDC Panel and reserved the right to change his mind at a later stage.
