OPEN FORUM –
Vivienne Fenner spoke about her reasons for wishing to extend her home -
application no: 03/40945. They have lived in the village for 13 years and
have children at the local schools. They will have to move out of the area
if this second application is not accepted. The application was previously
turned down on policy GB4 – over-development in the Green Belt. Her
neighbour, Jennifer Thorn-Davis, then spoke to say that although she has a
large extension on her own property, she believes that this new
application will bring her neighbour out even further and that her home is
a much larger site.
Don Hutton then spoke from Southwood Road about the amended plans:
03/40784 – the proposed chicken sheds at Lower Mount Farm. Mr Hutton
mentioned a Masonic lodge that was turned down in the 1970’s due to the
risk of pollution of the water catchment area. He is also concerned that
the smell of ammonia would detract from the quality of air in Cookham.
The meeting opened at 7.40pm.
