Minutes of a Meeting of the PLANNING COMMITTEE held at

Community Room on Tuesday, 7th January 2003 commencing at 7.30pm.

 

 

PRESENT:            Cllr H J Woodbridge (Chairman), Cllr M.Wellman (Vice Chairman),

Cllrs. M. Brar, P. Brockwell, S. Garrard, G. Harris, A. Hay, M. Innes, A. Prichard, D. Ricardo.

                       

                        In Attendance: Cllr M. Lawrence; Cllr T. Denniford.

 

The Planning Meeting opened after the Open Forum at 7.40pm.

APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE AND DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

Apologies were received from Cllrs. R. Arthur; M. Coker, Jean and John Stretton.

Cllr Prichard declared an interest in Appn 02/39671; Cllr Woodbridge declared a prejudicial interest in Appn 02/39622 and did not vote. Cllr Ricardo declared a prejudicial interest in Appn 02/39627 and did not vote.

 

Cllr Wellman took the Chair to discuss Appn 02/39622.

David Ricardo, spoke as a resident to read out a letter of objection to the above application. He said that the plans were inaccurate. The storage container was shown to

the east of the building and not the north. He added that there was no detail of the kind of storage container proposed, dimensions and whether it is permanent or mobile. He felt it was unacceptable for a conservation area.

 

COMMENT: Cookham Parish Council agreed that as the plans lacked any detail or dimensions, they would defer a decision until further detail could be supplied. The Clerk would email Michael Byrne to find out more.

COMMENT: Cookham Parish Council deferred any decision due to the ‘neighbours notified’ page being completely empty. Cllr Wellman called Diane Charlton to establish that neighbours had been notified, however there is now an amended plan on the way, so Cookham Parish Council will discuss the application on receipt of the amended plan.
