OTHER
ITEMS:
Flood
Plain Maps from EA:
Cllr
M. Wellman spoke of several recent planning decisions where the Royal
Borough have departed from the approved Local Plan and are now referring
to the Environment Agency’s 1:100 year Flood Plain Outline – Jubilee
River Post Scheme Feb 2002. Nothing has been formally sent to us and
Cookham Parish Council has always referred to the approved local plan.
Although parts of the flood plain appear to be alleviated by the various
works in Cookham and the Jubilee Channel in Maidenhead, Cllr Wellman feels
that we should have some clear guidance from the Borough as to which maps
to follow. As further planning applications on the flood plain at Cookham
are imminent, the Clerk was asked to write to David Trigwell for advice.
The
meeting ended at 8.30pm.
