Looking at The Cookham Crier the following restaurants/pubs were quoted as offering special meal deals during the festival on presentation of a ticket. I went to The Old Swan Uppers and was told they were not participating in the feast. Can anyone enlighten me as to which ones are taking part please? Thank you.

AnongThai
Bel and the Dragon
TheCrown
The King's Arms
The Old Butchers Wine Cellar
TheTeapot Tea Shop
Maliks
The Old Swan Uppers
Spice Merchant
The White Oak

The organisers of the Festival say they will check.

Likewise.....went to the Kings Arms yesterday in the expectation of a "deal" of some kind, even though nothing specific is listed like a discounted % or whatever, but they looked blankly when presented with the tickets for an upcoming event and knew nothing about it.

Seems a bit misleading to promote it if there was no agreement with the listed participants and should be remedied asap.

The organisers of the Festival say

“I spoke directly with Chris, the manager at the King’s Arms, and gave him the flyers for the windows and notice boards.”

Nothing displayed there as we checked before going in, and a few others on the list and no obvious mention was seen in any window. Also what is the "deal" specifically? A discount of some measure or free glass of pop with your meal? All very vague....

Has anyone been able to get a discount anywhere? Also has anyone seen any flyers?
