From Keith le Page Chairman of Cookham Twinning

We await the arrival of the group from Saint-Benoit who are visiting Cookham from 22nd to 25th October.

We look forward to finding out more about Saint-Benoit whilst they are with us, including about their various environmental initiatives. Saint-Benoit have recently been re-awarded their 4-star ‘ville-fleurie’ status, the highest possible award for floral towns and villages. This year they have established walks through their nearby woods, with stops identifying and describing the trees on the route. They also have a ‘Citizens' Ecological Transition Commission’ that is working to support biodiversity.

We look forward to visiting Saint-Benoit in 2023, and anyone interested in joining Cookham Twinning activities can find out more by contacting keith_le_page@hotmail.com.
