Cookham’s first wildlife art festival
Our Changing Earth
Our Changing Earth is Cookham’s first wildlife festival using art to tell a strong environmental story to inspire, educate and entertain. It will be over the weekend 10th/11th June this year; put it in your diary now!
Located at the Odney Club in Cookham village it’s a weekend-long festival free for visitors interested in either art, science or nature, or just wanting to find out more about how we can make changes, as a community and in our own lives.
Alongside the gallery, there will be interactive workshops, guided walks, treasure hunts and other activities, as well as a chance to buy any of the artwork.
Leading up to the event, environmental art courses are on offer to both artists and non-artist: details on the website.
The Festival is backed by WildCookham and is possible thanks to the financial support of the Louis Baylis Trust, the Prince Philip Trust Fund, the Lottery Community Fund and the Cookham Festival.
Book now for the Opening Event!
On the evening of Friday 9th June there will be a ticketed event with talks, drinks, nibbles and a chance to purchase any artwork early.
Speakers and panel members will include Peter Gibbs (known to many for his BBC series ‘Costing the Earth’ and his role chairing Gardeners’ Question Time), Estelle Bailey (CEO of our local wildlife trust, BBOWT) and Jan Stannard (co-founder of Heal, the national rewilding charity Heal and of Wild Maidenhead).
