The Met Office has issued another weather warning for this weekend covering all of Berkshire and large parts of England. The warning has been issued due to possible thunderstorms that may form as a result of the prolonged hot weather.

It is in place on Sunday (June 18) for the entire day, however, some areas are unlikely to see any thunderstorms at all. In some parts of the county, thunderstorms are forecast for parts of the afternoon and evening whereas other towns may only see some light rain.

The Met Office has also said there is that the thunderstorms could turn into longer periods of rain with the potential for "torrential downpours" The weather warning has thus been issued to ensure people remain vigilant and aware of the possible conditions.
