Night-time roadworks on a short section of the A308 Windsor Road, Maidenhead, start tonight (Monday 18 April) as part of the final phase of South East Water’s £2.3 million water pipeline scheme in the town.

The works (from the junction of Hibbert Road to the Braywick roundabout) are to permanently reinstate the road surface and have been scheduled with the agreement of the Royal Borough. They will be carried out over four nights this week ( Monday 18 – Thursday 21 April) before the Easter holiday with single lane closures to ensure as little as possible disruption to traffic on this busy road.

South East Water say they will work hard to keep any noise and disturbance to an absolute minimum. Residents who may be directly affected by the night working have been notified.

Similar reinstatement works will place at the junction of Oldfield Road and Forlease Road as soon after Easter as can be arranged.
