Hi there

Wondering if anyone in the discussion group knows about the history of the Bear Hotel at all? My GreatGrandmother was born there in 1866 and her father and mother ran the hotel.

PLus are there any school records for the family that I could see when I go to England next year possibly? Haven't checked the local record office as yet - which record office might that be do you think? Any suggestions would be really appreciated

Thanks so much and hope you are all coping with the snow! Pretty hot here in Australia
Cheers

I have answered Meegan by e-mail and have given her our History Blog site. I think she is refering to the Bear Hotel in Maidenhead.
