17/3 – 18/3  Friday 1 a.m. / Saturday 8 a.m.  Portlock Road X 2.  1.  Burglary.  Entry through forced front door.  House is being refurbished, so is empty.  Tools stolen.  2.  Shed break next door.  Lock removed and lawnmower stolen.  Repeat victim.

18/3  Saturday 10 a.m.  Wavell Road.  Burglary.  A witness reports a break-in at a neighbour’s house.  The rear conservatory door has been forced open.  Not yet known if anything stolen.
18/3  Saturday Overnight.  Kinghorn Park.  Burglary.  Large gated property.  The owners came down in the morning to find the front door open.  The car left on the driveway also had its door wide open.  The ground floor had been searched and her handbag containing a purse and mobile phone stolen.
18/3 – 19/3  Saturday 5 p.m. / Sunday 5 a.m.  Bakery, Gardner Road.  Entry via a fire door.  Offices searched Laptop and TV stolen.
17/3 – 18/3  Friday / Saturday.  Courthouse Road.  Car wing mirror and aerial damaged.
17/3 – 18/3  Friday 11 p.m. / Saturday 6 a.m.  Kinghorn Park X 3 Cars broken into.  1.  CAR LEFT INSECURE – searched Noting stolen.  2.  CAR LEFT INSECURE – Sports bag, which had been left on the back seat, found outside the car.  Loose change stolen.  3.  CAR LEFT INSECURE – car searched and sweets found inside eaten.

BOYN HILL, COX GREEN & WOODLANDS PARK:

17/3  Friday 8 a.m. – 6.55 p.m.  Cox Green Road.  Burglary.  Unknown point of entry.  The owner was sure the property was locked, but there is no evidence of any damage to get in.  Playstation 4 stolen.
17/3  Friday 9.45 p.m.  Wessex Way Shops.  A witness reported seeing youths pulling down posts near the shops.
18/3 – 19/3  Saturday 4 p.m. / Sunday  12.30 p.m.  Rye Close.  Thieves have removed the back of a front passenger side wing mirror from a black Ford Fiesta
 
OLDFIELD & BRAY:

19/3  Sunday 9.30 p.m.  Monkey Island Lane, Bray X 2 businesses broken into.  Police were out on patrol and drove down Monkey Island Lane.  As they approached two men ran out of a building site through bushes onto farm land.  They requested other units and back up in order to put on a containment and carry out an area search.  Other officers placed at the entrance to Windsor Marina saw 2 men emerging, wet and muddy and gave chase.  One man was arrested immediately and the other, after a chase through woodland upon suspicion of Burglary non Dwelling.
18/3  Saturday 8.30 p.m.  Kendall Place / Cox Green Road.  Two RBWM Community Wardens out on patrol saw 3 young lads spray painting graffiti on the walls of the underpass.
18/3  Saturday  5.15 p.m.  Farm, Drift Road.  The aggrieved was leaving the farm, when they saw a red 4X4 parked up in one of his fields.  Once the offenders realised they had been discovered, they drove off across several fields.  As he drove off onto Drift Road, he found the 4X4 abandoned.  The 4X4 has driven across crops causing damage as well as ramming through a gate.  The red 4X4 has been recovered and we will be trying to trace the owner.
