Extract from the Save Poundfield campaign group (for those who haven't seen it):

You may have already signed the original petition or commented on earlier versions of the Borough Local Plan, however, to give Poundfield the best protection it could have against further attempts to build on it in the future, if you haven't done so already, it is essential that as many people as possible reiterate their support for the designation of this area as Local Green Space in the current extended Regulation 19 consultation of the BLP.

If you and your family and friends are residents of the Borough, you can express your support in the following ways:

By email to: blp@rbwm.gov.uk

By post to: FREEPOST RBWM PLANNING POLICY

Comments don’t need to be any more detailed than “I support the proposed designation of Poundfield in Cookham as Local Green Space in the Borough Local Plan”. If there is more than one person who supports us in your household, please send in separate representations. Numbers count!

Representations must be received by the Borough by 5pm on Wednesday 27 September 2017.

Thank you Chrisri for posting this notice. By the way when you e-mail or snail mail in  your support, you should receive acknowledgement from BLP that your communication has been received. I have received notice from them already. Also more than one person at the same address can mail to preserve the site.

I note that at present only 161 have visited this posting. If you don't want the developer to have his way, then act and let the Borough Planners know your feelings about the green site known as Poundfield.
Objections to this proposal have to be in by 27th of September 2017, by 5 p.m. We need everyone to restate their objections, plus many more.

Done.

Really this should be shared on the Cookham Face Book Page IF anyone knows how to do this. Seems more goes on there than this discussion board these days.

Facebook & Twitter are two places that a wise person would not touch with a ten foot barge pole.

I certainly wouldn't touch a barge with a 10 foot barge poll either - you need around 13 feet for good punting.

And also, I know it sounds obvious but please don't forget to include your address and postcode if you submit via email or letter otherwise your voice won't count!

Thank you Tudorrose. The deadline is coming up fast. So act now to preserve the village and its historical past. So why wait, "DO IT NOW."
