Alexandra Cross (Police, Communications, Thames Valley)

Tomorrow, Wednesday (6/12), we will be holding a live webchat with Thames Valley Police detectives to offer advice on how you can keep your homes safe this Christmas.

There is often an increase in burglaries at this time of year and we want residents to think about what security they have in place.

In recent months there has been a national increase in burglaries and break-ins and we have seen a 25 per cent rise in burglaries across the Thames Valley in the last six months.

Alongside our neighbourhood policing teams who are offering advice to residents, we have dedicated resources in place to disrupt and investigate burglaries in order to bring offenders to justice.

To find out more about how TVP is tackling burglary across your area, join us tomorrow between 6.30pm and 8pm.

Take part in the webchat http://thamesvp.coverpage.coveritlive.com/index2.php/option=com_altcaster/task=viewaltcast
