This message is dated Monday 26th February 2018 - Bisham, Cookham, Hurley, The Walthams, Littlewick Green and Knowl Hill.

24/2  Saturday 1 p.m.  Burchetts Green Road, Burchetts Green.  Burgalry.  A witness heard their neighbour’s alarm sounding and went to investigate   They found the glass to the side of the front door smashed.  The frame also had jemmy marks.  Search of the whole house.  Not yet known if anything stolen.
23/2 – 24/2  Friday 6 p.m. / Saturday 9 a.m.  Spring Lane.  Car rear windscreen smashed – laptops X 2 stolen.
24/2  Saturday 11 a.m. / 12.30 p.m.  Benhams Heath, Shurlock Row.  Car broken into.  Clothing, Mobile phones X 2, Raybans and bank cards stolen.

CCTV is very useful, but has issues at night, when usually we get very grainy pale grey footage.  It is very difficult to identify offenders from this and if the offenders see cameras, they use their hoodys to cover their faces.  The answer is – if you have security lights, swap one over with a Guard Cam.  These contain a hidden CCTV camera.  The advantage is – when the PIR heat and movement sensor is broken at night, the camera starts recording and the floodlight comes on.  Thieves often look directly at the light – which they don’t do with CCTV.  The images are saved to a SD RAM card – the same as in digital cameras – in full HDD full colour.  The more expensive versions send the images directly to your mobile phone – wherever you are in the world !!!
