Over the last week, RBWM Community Wardens, working alongside PCSOs have carried out 2 Community Speed Watches:
 
RBWM Community Warden Dave Lee, Peter Murkin along with PCSO Danielle Scott carried out a Speed Watch on Courthouse Road on the 9th May between 8 a.m. - 9.05 a.m.  The speed limit on the road is 30 mph.  14 cars were recorded doing more than 30 mph, but non exceeded 40 mph.
 
A second community Speed Watch was carried out on Holyport Road, on Tuesday 8th May, where the speed limit is 30 mph, by RBWM Community Warden Rob Noble.  21 cars were recorded exceeding the speed limit, mostly in the mid 30s mph.  Only one exceeded 40 mph, doing 44 mph.
 
Each driver, will now receive a letter from the police.

10/5  Thursday 3 p.m. / 4 p.m.  High Street.  Locked up bike in a bike rack near a bus stop stolen.  A white bike.
5/5 - 9/5  Saturday 11 a.m. / Wednesday 6.45 a.m.  Kidwells Close.  Communal bike shed ENTERED BY UNKNOWN MEANS and locked up bike stolen. A Cube Bikes Peloton stolen.
 
RIVERSIDE & BELMONT:
8/5 - 9/5  Tuesday 7 p.m. / Wednesday 7 a.m.  St. Marks Road.  4 batteries stolen from temporary traffic lights

BISHAM, COOKHAM, HURLEY, THE WALTHAMS, LITTLEWICK GREEN & KNOWL HILL:
7/5 - 10/5  Monday 6.30 p.m. / Thursday 11.40 a.m.  Lake, Strande Lane, Cookham.  Fence cut and bent back.  This may be an ongoing issue.  Can everyone remain alert in the area and report anything suspicious on the 101 number.

BOYN HILL, COX GREEN & WOODLANDS PARK:
9/5  Wednesday 11.45 a.m. / noon.  Lower Boyndon Road.  Car passenger window smashed - loose change taken from the centre console.
 
OLDFIELD & BRAY:
9/5 -10/5  Wednesday 10.30 p.m. / Thursday 6.45 a.m.  Chalgrove Close.  Garage break.  Garage ENTERED BY UNKNOWN MEANS - valuable Hayter Harrier 48 lawnmower stolen.
11/5  Friday 5.10 a.m.  Golf Club, Shoppenhangers Road.  Clubhouse entered by three men forcing the shutters on a rear kitchen window.  The opportunist thieves targeted and broke into the tills in the bar, but no floats are kept in them at night.  Nothing stolen apart from the cash till drawers.  These will probably have been discarded somewhere - if you find them please let us know on the 101 number.  CCTV shows them driving off at 4.57 a.m.  If you saw or heard anything suspicious, please phot the information through to the police using the 101 number.
