Lower Road Alert

A resident who lives in Lower Road opposite the coffee shop said that at approx. 1500hrs yesterday his disabled wife heard a knock at the door but could not answer straight away, she unlocked the back door thinking it was her husband coming in with the shopping, by the time she had checked the porch come back in she was confronted by two men dressed in dark cloth wearing black masks standing in our kitchen, she shouted at them and asked them what they were doing, they ran of through the back garden over the gate and down the private service road. Her husband came in from shopping at 1545 hrs to find her very upset. He has spoken to the police at around 1615 hrs to inform them as to what had happened and they said someone would call around that evening.
