The first hybrid walk-in and drive-in testing centre in the country has been set up in Slough and has been operational since Wednesday 24 June. The site is being provided by the Department for Health and Social Care and is being facilitated by Slough Borough Council.

The testing centre will be based in the Montem Car Park, Montem Lane and anyone with symptoms or anyone who is concerned they may be infected, regardless of whether they have symptoms or not, will be able visit for a test either by foot or in a car.

Anyone wanting to attend the testing site can either make an appointment or drop-in, though the council is warning drop-ins may have a slightly longer wait. There is no geographical limit on where people can visit from.

More information and specific details about what to do if you are thinking of attending can be found here.
