Another Cookham Festival success story on
Tuesday evening at the Function rooms of the Crown pub.

Renowned and published poet Patrick
Osada, and Cookham poet Tony Turner, Annie McWilliam, Val Mason and
Brigitte Fraser were among the brilliant poets who entertained a
full house as we sipped our beverages. The poetry was
interspersed by musicians with their own compositions. Drew Black on
guitar and Jean Marc Hall as well as Lynn Spore to name a few.

| This evening with a difference was the idea of Gail Dorrington, a poet and musician in her own right. Gail's project was one of getting poets together for last year's hugely successful Cookham Summer FM. Many of those poets who appeared on Cookham Summer FM performed again tonight at the Crown pub who, in their generosity supplied the venue. | ||
