Although rather far away in the Cotswolds the family run Pear Tree has the most fantastic restaurant and is also a hotel The food is delicious and as often as possible is from local suppliers. A three course table d'hote lunch is £22. There is also a beautiful garden. If you are ever in the area the Pear Tree is definitely worth a visit.
