             Something
very different took place at the Pinder Hall on Wednesday 15th and
Thursday 16th May when The Dean of Iniquity (or The Confessions of a
            Parish Constable) featured Sex,
Lies and Highwaymen in local playwright’s musical play based on
            the diaries of
Cookham Parish Constable William Gibbins. Jonathan Yates imagined
            how the inhabitants of
19th century Cookham might have responded to their sins and crimes
            being made
public. Is there anyone without sin? The characters from Cookham’s
            history were played
by stars of the local stage and concert platform.
