Cookham village creative hub on the moor was  a lovely mixture of live music and craft activities. There were opportunities to try out something new from mosaicing with teresa mills who put the whole group of crafters together to  making a  treasure map or mythical creature with Paul Robbens, famous for his work as a film prop maker, one of the highlights were sisters, Phoebe & Isabella Mansell  who enterertained us to raise funds for an expedition they are making to an orphanage in Uganda with their school and the intrepid Jane Austen dancers who braved the elements and long grass  in flimsy frocks!

 

The Cookham on canvas artists came and went off to fight furiously with the wind for their art. Their exhibition starts on Friday 17th May as part of the open studios trail.
