Again – not a bad weekend.


I did a message out this morning to the Oldfield & Bray Neighbourhood re their Community Consultation document. It contained a link to Survey Monkey where members can register their 3 priorities. Ken Mcrae Chair of the NAG, has sent me this note:

CRIME:
BISHAM, COOKHAM, HURLEY, THE WALTHAMS, LITTLEWICK GREEN & KNOWL HILL:

5/3 – 12/3 Milley Road, Waltham St. Lawrence. Summerhouse broken into and copper piping ripped out. A lot of water damage resulted.
10/3 – 11/3 Thursday 5.30 p.m. / Friday 8 a.m. Royal Cottages, Cookham Dean Cottages. Car fuel cap forced and fuel stolen.
1/3 – 5/3 High Road, Cookham Rise. INSECURE car searched – Sat Nav stolen.

BOYN HILL, COX GREEN & WOODLANDS PARK:
11/3 – 12/3 Friday 8.30 p.m. / Saturday 7.30 a.m. Thurlby Way. A group of youths were seem mingling around a car – later the owner found a rear quarter light had been smashed.
12/3 – 13/3 Saturday 10.30 p.m. / Sunday 10 a.m. Altwood Drive – bike stolen.

RIVERSIDE & BELMONT:

20/2 – 6/3 All Saints Avenue. Shed break - bike stolen.
13/3 Sunday 3 a.m. Fairford Road. Car rear windscreen smashed – nothing stolen.
11/3 Friday 2 a.m. Ray Park Avenue. Brick thrown through the window of a car.
12/3 – 13/3 Saturday 2 p.m. / Sunday 11.30 a.m. Coln Close. Front and rear wiper blades ripped off.
10/3 – 11/3 Thursday 5.30 p.m. – Friday 7.30 a.m. Bridge Road. Car passenger window smashed. – the thief reached in and stole a Sat Nav which had been left on the window.
14/3 Monday 2.45 a.m. Belmont Drive. The owner heard a noise and went to investigate. They found the front door open and 2 men – one carrying a torch. They immediately made off. The front door had been forced.

INNER MAIDENHEAD:
No crime to report.

OLDFIELD & BRAY:
11/3 Friday 3.35 p.m. / 4.30 p.m. Fifield Road. Burglary to annex, via forced front door – TV and amplifier stolen.
14/3 Monday Early hours. Badger Close. Burglary via INSECURE rear door – laptop, MP3 player, mobile, and handbags stolen.
11.3 – 12/3 Friday 5.15 p.m. / Saturday 8 a.m. Shoppenhangers Road. House being renovated. Burglary via forced ground floor window – Copper piping and various other items stolen.
14/3 Monday early hours. Suffolk Road.  Burglary via front door – handbag & mobile phone stolen.

PINKNEYS GREEN & FURZE PLATT:
11/3 Friday 1.30 a.m. / 4.15 a.m. garage on the Bath Road. Thieves climbed over the fence and stole wheels.

Not a bad weekend – but then a lot of our persistent offenders are in custody.
