A
very quiet start to the week. At the morning Briefing it was pointed out
that so far this financial year we are 100 crimes down on the same period
last year. 100 crimes down – means of course – 100 less victims. Lets
keep that up.
CRIME:
BISHAM, HURLEY, COOKHAM, THE WALTHAMS, LITTLEWICK GREEN & KNOWL HILL:
29/4 – 3/5 Whyteladyes Lane. Van broken into and
interior vandalised.
1/5 – 3/5 Sunday 9.30 a.m. / Tuesday 5 p.m. Grubwood Lane.
Garage break via rear window – 3 sets of Golf clubs stolen.
BOYN HILL, COX GREEN & WOODLANDS PARK:
28/4 – 3/5 School, West Road. Water pipes vandalised
and left flowing causing damage. Garden bench also vandalised.
2/5 Monday 4.40 a.m. / 3.40 p.m. High Town Road. Car
entered BY UNKNOWN MEANS
– wallet stolen.
3/5 Tuesday 6.45 a.m. / 10 a.m. Heywood Gardens. Car
window smashed.
RIVERSIDE & BELMONT:
2/5 Monday 10.45 p.m. Clivemont Road. Car had a brick
thrown through rear windscreen.
1/5 – 2/5 Sunday 11 p.m. / Monday 7 a.m. Belmont Park Road.
Attempted shed break – no entry gained.
INNER MAIDENHEAD:
No crime to report.
OLDFIELD & BRAY:
2/5 Monday car dealership, Oldfield Road. A man was seen
on CCTV breaking into the property and stealing alloy wheels. The car he
used was his own and was visible on the CCTV ! He has been arrested.
2/5 Monday 9.45 p.m. Ludlow Road. The owner was awoken by
a noise outside. They went to investigate and saw a group of about 20
Asian lads running down the road. They had run over his car damaging the
boot, roof & bonnet.
1/5 Sunday 4 a.m. / 6.30 a.m. Fane Way. Burglary via INSECURE
rear door – mobiles, tools, camera, bike keys and a
Vauxhall van and a Mitsubishi Colt stolen. The van has been recovered in
Rixman Close – did you see it being dropped off ? The Colt has been
recovered from Iver.
PINKNEYS GREEN & FURZE PLATT:
2/5 – 3/5 Monday 6.30 p.m. / Tuesday 0.20 a.m. Cannon Court
Road. Burglary via forced side door – 40’’ & 36’’
TVs stolen. Did the thieves walk down the road with these or load them
into a van ? Did you see anything.
2/5 Monday 5 p.m. / 8 p.m. Oaken Grove. Car passenger
window smashed – SAT NAV stolen.
1/5 – 2/5 Sunday 9 p.m. / Monday 3.15 p.m. Briar Dene.
Car passenger window smashed – not known if anything stolen.
