Crime: 16 June 2011

A quiet week, Lead still being stolen – Belmont in the last few days, but the thieves are still out there looking for it. We had an attempt to steal copper cabling from the road in Datchet, so those thieves are also out and about.

We have had – via the RBWM Community Wardens 5 reports of fly tipping in Monkey Island Lane. Fly tipping can be a very expensive business ! If it is on private land the owner has to pay to have it removed. If the waste contains anything noxious like asbestos, it can cost a fortune ! we should all be on the lookout for flytippers – JUST IN CASE !

Please think about coming along and joining us at the Have your Say on Crime & Anti Social Behaviour evening at the Town Hall, Desborough Suite, tonight 6 - 8 p.m. last year it was an excellent evening. Be there to be heard !
