Crime: 27 June 2011

 

Not a bad weekend, but we are still suffering lead thefts.  Those people must be out and about locating it !!  Datchet Horton & Wraysbury were also hit for burglaries, so crime has not completely gone away.  Use this time to ensure your security is up to scratch !

 

 CRIME:

BISHAM, COOKHAM, HURLEY, THE WALTHAMS, LITTLEWICK GREEN & KNOWL HILL:

23/6 – 25/6  Thursday / Saturday  Harding’s Green, Cookham. X 3.  Garage break – nothing stolen.  Half the lead lifted from a garage roof.  A neighbour’s gate was used to climb up.  Shed door lifted off it’s hinges – hedge cutter, lawn mower and tools stolen.

23/6 – 25/6  Thursday 10 p.m. / Saturday 1 p.m.  Whyteladyes Lane, Cookham Rise.  Burglary to cabin – door forced – TV and computer stolen.

24/6 – 25/6  Friday 11 p.m. / Saturday 7.30 a.m.  Alleyn’s Lane, Cookham Dean.  2/3rds lead removed from a flat roof.

26/6  Sunday 9 a.m. / noon.  West End, Waltham St Lawrence.  Owner returned to find a window damaged with loads of small chips.

24/6 – 25/6  Friday 7.30 p.m.  Saturday 10.15 a.m.  Shurlock Row.  2 garages broken into – brick cutter stolen.

 

BOYN HILL, COX GREEN & WOODLANDS PARK:

25/6 – 26/6  Saturday 8 p.m. / Sunday 8 a.m.  Grenfell Road.  Bike stolen from the back of a car on the driveway.

24/6 – 25/6  Friday 7 p.m. / Saturday 11 a.m.  Gwent Close.  Car rear windscreen smashed.

 

RIVERSIDE & BELMONT:

23/6 – 24/6  Thursday / Friday  Tennis club, All Saints Avenue.  Roof tiles lifted possibly in an attempt to break in via the roof.  Thieves were obviously disturbed – By you ??

24/6  Friday 11 p.m.  Courthouse Road.  Part of fence stolen.

 

INNER MAIDENHEAD:

25/6 – 26/6  Saturday 10.30 p.m. / Sunday 0.50 a.m.  Star Lane.  Car entered BY UNKNOWN MEANS  Cash & mobile stolen from the foorwell.

 

OLDFIELD & BRAY:

No crime to report.

 

PINKNEYS GREEN & FURZE PLATT:

25/6 – 26/6  Saturday 9 p.m. / Sunday  9 a.m.  Moorlands Drive.  Statues stolen from a garden – repeat victim.

25/6  Saturday  Pinkneys Road.  Car driver’s window smashed – nothing stolen.

25/6  Saturday Pinkneys Drive.  Car driver’s window smashed – nothing stolen.

24/6 – 25/6  Friday 7 p.m. / Saturday 8.30 a.m.  Lee Lane.  Car rear windscreen smashed.

25/6  Saturday  6 a.m.  Farm Road.  A witness saw 2 men climbing over the wall into the school.  They phoned the police who attended immediately.  Several lengths of lead were found to be missing – a man matching the description given to the police was arrested nearby and lead recovered.

25/6  Saturday 3 p.m. / 8 p.m.  School, Oaken Grove.  Bike stolen during school funday.
