Crime: 12 October 2012
Please note,
the email addresses for your local Neighbourhood teams have been updated
and the correct addresses are below – please use them if you want to
talk to or discuss anything with them. The photo cards of all your
team members are presently being updated and I will attach them
electronically as soon as they are available. They will also be
available as post cards and if you email the team they can drop some off
for your members / friends / work colleagues.
I have had
loads of emails asking for a re-print of the piece created by Anne
Chalmers recently, re burglary prevention advice. I have created it
as a separate document – which is attached.

MEMBERS’
COMMENTS:
I have just
received a call from one of our members re the issues with cash back in
supermarkets. Apparently this is not the only issue. He had
recently been to a supermarket and paid for his purchases, then had the
value of Nectar points, added to his Nectar Card. He was completely
unaware that the next person in the queue had items totalling £65.25 in
their trolley. She was only charged .25 p, the rest was charged
against our members Nectar points ! He was completely unaware, this
had happened. It was only when that person felt remorse and guilt
and reported this to the supermarket, he was contacted. Can
everyone keep an eye on their Nectar points ???
