20/10 – 21/10 Saturday 10.30 p.m. / Sunday 11.30 a.m. Powney Road. Someone has painted a white line down the side of a car. We had several cases of this a few weeks ago. If this has happened to you can you report it please on the 101 number.

21/10 Sunday 1.45 p.m. Car Park, Providence Place. Kids were on the top floor of the multi story car park. One of them thought it would be a good idea to push a shopping trolley over the edge. This damaged the tiled canopy lower down and also damaged the trolley. It is really fortunate no-one was below.
20/10 Saturday 11 a.m. / Saturday 5.25 p.m. Station, King Street. Bike locked to railings stolen.

19/10 – 20/10 Friday 7.30 p.m. / Saturday 3.30 a.m. The Croft. Burglary via forced ground floor window – children’s clothing, shoes, underwear, laptop, alcohol, fake tan, make up and cash stolen.
19/10 Friday 9.30 a.m. - noon. Nursery, Braywick Road. Bike stolen from bike rack

19/10 Friday 8.30 p.m. Kenwood Close. Burglary. Officers responded to a burglary in progress message. They attended immediately but by the time they arrived and put a cordon round the property, the offender had been disturbed and made off. Doors and windows had been forced – jewellery stolen.

Final call for entries for community safety photo competition
The Royal Borough’s community safety partnership isreminding residents that there’s still time to get snapping to enter its photography competition Capture Your Community.
Residents are invited to submit photos of what their area means to them in a bid to increase community pride.
Photographers of all ages and expertise are welcome to enter in three categories:
·      under-18s
·      adults
·      the Olympics/Paralympics.
To qualify, photographs must be taken in the Royal Borough, with the exception of the Olympic and Paralympic events at Eton Dorney. Only digital photographs up to 10Mb can be accepted.
Entry forms and terms and conditions are available for downloading from the community safety website http://www.rbwmsafety4all.org.uk/photocomp.htm. Photographs should be emailed to communitysafety@rbwm.gov.uk
The closing date isFriday 16 November.
The prizes are:
·      Under-18s: studio experience with local photographer Rob Percy at his studios in Henley-on-Thames
·      Adults: framed A3 print of their winning picture and £50 studio gift voucher to be used at Snappy Studio in Windsor
·      Olympics: Voucher at Pixelarti in Maidenhead for a free sitting and a free 8x6 print
·      Runner-up under-18s: a 90-minute studio tutorial at Simon Earle Photography
·      Runner-up adults: framed A4 print of their picture and £25 studio gift voucher to be used at Snappy Studio in Windsor
·      Runner-up Olympics/Paralympics: one year's membership to Maidenhead Camera Club.
Brian Martin, community safety manager, said: “There has been steady interest in the photo competitionand I am confident we will receive a good number of entries. We have had a great summer with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics and Paralympics– so I am sure many people have a wealth of pictures to choose from.
“Photos of any standard will be accepted– what’s important is capturing community spirit. Get those entries in– what have you got to lose!”
