You will all have received an Alert message over the weekend from HQ re the blackmail scam letters.  Please disregard it, if one comes through your door.  They are not aimed at you, but have been delivered by the thousand.

6/6  Friday  Park View, Grenfell Road.  Graffiti with a marker pen on a wall.
6/6 – 7/6  Friday 10.30 p.m. / Saturday 7.10 a.m.  Craufurd Rise.  Car rear windscreen smashed.  Several cars damaged.  No attempt to enter or search them.
6/6  Friday  8 p.m.  East Road.  Car nearside tyre slashed.  A witness saw 2 young lads do this.
8/6  Sunday  High Town Road.  Car offside rear tyre slashed by 2 youths.  It was witnessed by a neighbour.

8/6 – 9/6  Sunday 10 a.m. / Monday 8.30 a.m.  Ray Park Avenue.  Car keyed.

6/6  Friday 6.40 p.m.  Gardner Road.  Something hit a car windscreen causing it to smash.  The driver saw 3 or 4 young lads on a bridge.
9/6  Monday 2.15 a.m.  Courthouse Road.  Car passenger window smashed.  There has been an attempt to lever the car door before the window was smashed.  A garage door was then forced open.  On exiting they also smashed a windscreen of another car.

6/6  Friday Sycamore Close.  The aggrieved received one of the very offensive blackmail letters, currently being circulated right across Maidenhead and other areas.  You will have received a separate Alert message over the weekend.  The letter requires payment of 2 bit coins.  A bit coin is an electronic form of currency used on the internet.  It has a face value of £3, but like stocks and shares they are traded, with a current market value of nearly £400 each.  This is simply a scam letter sent to thousands of people, hoping someone will pay up.  It is not sent to anyone as an individual.
7/6  Saturday 11.25 p.m.  Loosen Drive.  A rock was thrown at a front door causing damage.
 
OLDFIELD & BRAY:

7/6  Saturday 0.30 a.m.  Money Row Green, Holyport.  Attempted theft of fuel.  Someone entered a yard and tried to remove the padlocks locking the pumps to steal fuel.
7/6  Saturday 2.45 a.m. / 3.20 a.m.  Tithe Barn Drive.  Burglary.  Offenders have entered an INSECURE yard and taken house keys.  They have then entered the house and stolen a rucksack plus contents from the hallway.  In the rucksack, was a set of car keys for blue, Toyota Yaris index LL ** ONT which was stolen from outside.
7/6 – 9/6  Saturday noon / Monday 9.30 a.m.  Warren View, Holyport Street, Holyport.  Driver’s side wing mirror kicked from a car.
8/6 - 9/6  Sunday 2 p.m. / Monday 9 a.m.  Monkey Island Lane.  Unknown offenders have climbed over a 6ft wooden fence onto a bramble area.  They have then entered the site a siphoned out 300 litres of diesel from 2 vehicles.
