MEMBERS’ ADVICE:

Hello Jeff,

Just read Iris' email about mobile text spam. I work for Vodafone and can confirm we absolutely take spamming to customers extremely seriously.

There's quite a lot of good info on our website about how to keep your number off spammers lists, but clearly many of these are generated randomly.

http://www.vodafone.com/content/parents/get-involved/spam_scams.html

If you do get a spam text and are on Vodafone forward the text to 87266.

We then investigate and block.  We have blocked thousands of these numbers, so please keep them coming as the more we get, the more we can act.

Maria

Thanks Maria.  As always – there is always someone out there that can help the rest of us.  I am always really grateful.
